This weekend we brought in MFA video guru Daniel Foley for some color and audio work. The footage and sound was already pretty good, but our goal was to push things over the top, making everything clearer and more pleasant, and tricking viewers into thinking we actually had a reasonable budget to work with.
Here's an example of what we did to our interview with Nathan, the principal subject:

The image speaks for itself. I was also able to take advantage of Daniel's input and make some improvements to the transitions between segments of the film.
I've never spent this much time on improving a project, but we've taken this from something that was a very good film about the egg industry and turned it into something that's more than just a film about the egg industry, and it's exciting to see where this is going.
